BUILT IN
PRESSURE MOMENTS.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

IT STARTED ON THE FIELD, NOT IN A CLASSROOM.

Ron’s path into mental performance ran through pressure moments: years of working with athletes navigating expectations, adversity and self-doubt, and 25+ years leading in corporate rooms where the stakes were just as real.

He saw it again and again. Talent alone fails under pressure. The people who succeed long-term build emotional control, focus under pressure and strong internal standards. That became the foundation for everything he does today.

A QUICK HELLO FROM RON

WHERE IT STARTED

THE MENTAL GAME, TAUGHT AT THE FIELD.

Before Coach Ron MPM, Ron led the Extreme Elite softball program and built mental performance into every week of practice. This short documentary series follows the teams on a 2018 tournament trip to Aurora, Colorado: a growth mindset, handling what you can’t control, and showing up for teammates.

THE PATH

TWO WORLDS. ONE SKILL.

Leadership and sport taught him the same lesson from two directions: performance under pressure is a skill you can train.

Including senior executive roles in financial services. Quarter-ends, reorgs and the rooms where big decisions get made.

THE FIELD

10+ years coaching elite 16U/18U fastpitch

THE LIGHTHOUSE PHILOSOPHY

Lighthouse in a storm

PRESSURE DOESN’T BUILD CHARACTER. IT REVEALS IT.

Ron believes mental performance is a trainable skill set, built through awareness, intentional practice and consistent standards. A lighthouse doesn’t chase the storm. It stays steady and lights the way.

Respond instead of react

Stay present under pressure

Build confidence through preparation

Develop resilience through adversity

Create habits that hold up in real moments

BE THE LIGHTHOUSE.

THE 10 PILLARS

THE FRAMEWORK BEHIND THE WORK.

Ten pillars in three groups, from his book Winning Starts Within. Taught through coaching, courses and workshops, and built into a plan for each person after the Diagnostic.
